Babies of Obese Mothers Are Low in Vitamin-D. According to my experience (Dr Qaisar Ahmed) mothers who’s obesity is the due to lack of calcium; vit-D has deficiency in there kids.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Usually, the higher the vitamin D intake, the lower the fat content. I’m trying to figure out how much vitamin D an obese pregnant woman should take in order to pass it along to her baby during pregnancy’s/while in the womb.
The best health advice is that adults get at least 1,000 – 4,000 IU of vitamin D each day, though a pregnant woman should not take above 2,000 IU a day.
Then, when the baby is born, ensure to start vitamin-D drops to the kid.
Vitamin D deficiency can lead to a loss of bone density, which can contribute to osteoporosis and fractures (broken bones).
Severe vitamin D deficiency can also lead to other diseases like:
- it can cause rickets (Rickets is a rare disease that causes the bones to become soft and bend).
- Increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease
- Cognitive impairment in older adults
- Severe asthma in children
- Cancer
- Diabetes (type -1 & 2)
- Hypertension
- Glucose intolerance
- Multiple sclerosis.
